Gumla: Two PLFI operatives, together with an space commander, had been arrested from Tan village beneath Kuru police station of Gumla on Wednesday. The arrested had been recognized as space commander Sandeep Bhagat and Sunil Bhagat, each residents of Semardih village of the district.
The duo was concerned in threatening the contractor and stopping the Phuljhar canal development undertaking beneath Senha police station of the district with the intention to extract levy from on June 11. The 11km-long canal repairing undertaking is price Rs 11 crore.
Lohardaga DSP Parmeshwar Prasad stated, “Apart from these two PLFI cadres, 5 others had been arrested on June 16 and one on June 25 on fees of threatening and stopping the canal work.”
Lohardaga SP Priyanka Meena had constituted a crew led by Prasad which comprised inspector Awadesh Kumar and the OC of Senha police station, Birendra Ekka, to arrest the PLFI operatives concerned within the incident.
