Rajkot: A sick lioness, aged 2.5 years, died throughout transportation to Sakkarbaug zoo in Junagadh for therapy from the Shetrunjee vary on Thursday.
In line with the forest officers, the lioness was affected by broncho-pneumonia and was seeing shifting round dizzily within the income space of Vavdi village of Rajula taluka in Amreli district.
It was rescued on Wednesday and after administering main therapy was referred to Sakkaarbaug Zoo for additional therapy.
The postmortem report said she died due to a number of organ failure. tnn
