Whoa: Reformation is at Nordstrom! I was excited to see that the boho, inventive brand (which I largely think of as weekend gear, but we have featured at least one suit from them over the years) is now carried at Nordstrom because I love my free, easy returns. (Reformation also offers free US shipping and easy returns but for some reason it just feels easier to return everything to one store, if that makes sense.) Nordstrom carries the pictured dress in two prints (the black one pictured and a yellow floral one); meanwhile Reformation’s website has the same dress in three more prints (including a smaller black & white floral); all of the dresses are $218. Note that the slit goes pretty high — I’d probably layer a half-slip beneath it or the shorter versions of everyone’s favorite Skimmies slipshorts. Carina Midi Wrap Dress

Just a note on the Nordstrom returns process — I have no inside knowledge on whether this is a temporary change or a permanent one, but Nordstrom seems to have recently reverted back to the older version of its returns process where you have to look up each order individually. The con to this is that the more recent returns process was easier (just a page showing individual items you’d bought recently and you could return items from multiple orders easily) — but the big pro is that if you had things that maybe weren’t bought so recently you can easily get to those older orders and return things you ordered and never wore. Obviously, use your judgment when returning older things. Here are some other thoughts on returning items bought online.
